Had very good stay for holidays, the staff were extremely helpful, location was magnificent straight on to the outdoor seating area. The room we booked was brand-new and good looking with a variety.

Good hot, fantastic breakfast with continental options and a decent cappuccino, as for instance. Nicely furnished and brand-new rooms with a lounge area, an iron and many channels.

Bathroom facilities do not meet today's standards. The gym is too small to do a real workout.

Clean hotel, SMART staff, well-organised and extremely pleasant room. Good customer service, including fresh made breakfasts with items replenished quickly, tinned mushrooms and also a decent cappuccino.

Staff overwhelmed at breakfast, food in the restaurant rather tasteless. In the evening in the narrow bar area very loud due to sports broadcasts on television and noisy crowds of guests.

Convenient location for exploring Nottingham, free and abundant parking, well-appointed bathrooms

The shower floor is dangerously slippery without a mat!!! Upgrading the TV sound system and ironing out poor drainage issues in the bathrooms would make a noticeable difference!!!

having mistakenly not booked breakfast as i normally would when booking a hotel room , i was surprised and very disappointed to discover the price of the full english breakfast booked when staying was more than double the on line price , this would make me think carefully about booking with your company again as other chains do not increase breakfast prices like this , i make this statement fully aware that the room was competitively priced, i did say to reception that it was an error on my part but they didnt wish to discuss it

The service was very efficient, including an early check-in. The breakfast was fresh made and warm - a wide array of dishes.

Room was spacious, but the bathroom cleanliness needed improvement.

Very slow lifts. One lift broke down during our stay.

The design of the curtains and cushions!! The quality of the mattress and the choice and amount of cushions. The breakfast in general. The staff, even though no one asked if we had had a good night/stay, or if everything had been to our satisfaction.

The coffee at breakfast which was the worst I have come across in years if not ever! Paying for fluffy robes and slippers extra package and there not being any. There only being one chocolate bar in a double room. There only being one hot chocolate packet in a double room. Not enough milk sachets. The 'fresh' coffee machine which did not work and was dangerous to operate, risking a scalding injury to anyone attempting to use it.
